Reese Witherspoon's acting career began to grow following her enrollment at Stanford University. Her early success was in films like Pleasantville, Election and Legally Blonde. It was her portrayal as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde's big-budget smash that truly marked the beginning of her career. Her role in Walk the Line earned her an Academy Award nomination in 2005. In 2003's film The Invisible Man she had her first role of feature length. The television debut of her career was House of Lies Whitney. Alongside her acting work as a performer, she's appeared in movies such as The Dictator or The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. As well as her profession as a performer, Sheila is also an accomplished artist. She has displayed her work in numerous galleries.
